How much does orthodontics cost?
Orthodontic fees vary depending on the type, length and complexity of treatment. Below is a brief guide to help you understand our typical fees for the standard complex cases that we encounter routinely. Fees can be less than this for simple cases.

What is included?
At your initial consultation, you will be quoted an all-inclusive fee for treatment. This fee covers all aspects of that phase of treatment, including retainers and supervision after treatment. There are no hidden fees and we don’t charge extra for clear (ceramic) braces.
All treatment fees include:
- Initial records and starting appointments
- All appliances
- Regular adjustment appointments
- Removal of appliances
- Fitting of retainers and monitoring for 1-2 years after treatment
How are payments made?
The majority of our patients elect to pay treatment off incrementally in interest-free installments and this will be discussed if you are ready to commence treatment. We offer a 5% discount for upfront payments and the siblings of patients are similarly discounted.
Please feel free to discuss what your budget allows. We do offer flexibility in payment terms.
Will my private health insurance cover some of the treatment fee?
Many private health insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. We recommend that you seek advice directly from your health fund regarding the rules governing your insurance. We can provide you with the information and paperwork to assist with claiming a rebate.
